  1. This is really busy and a little hard to read. Once I get the hang of what it says it’s fun and interesting. I don’t think it fits the purpose though.I feel like in order to communicate it’s point it should be very plain and not busy at all.

  2. It is indeed busy , there is a lot going on this is maybe not the best choice. Or If it wasn’t so much going on the font type wouldn’t be so bad. Color choice is for sure an issue here ; maybe a more organized theme

  3. For introducing a type and presenting it to another person, I do not think this is successful. Although I do enjoy all the letters with different colors, opacities, and sizes, it is the layout and design of the left hand side compared to the right hand side that is giving me the most trouble. There are aspects in each that do not follow suit with the other, making it look like two completely different pages or type specimen books. It has the information about the designer, date, etc, but one thing I would like to see more of is the alphabet laid out in such a way that I am able to see the letterforms more closely. Also, I don’t know if this is accurate or not, but I do not think putting “adobe” is a necessary feature when naming a typeface.

  4. The composition of this poster is complicated but it loses its focal point. Although it uses alot contract color but it also use many typhographic style on one poster. It will be nice if it has a unique style.

  5. Compositionally, its a mess. The left part is a bit “calmer” than the right side, but basically, theres too much clutter and the composition lacks balance. ITs even hard to tell what is the tertiary, or even primary focus of the composition.

  6. I feel as though it’s a bit busy. For introducing a typeface, I don’t think it’s effective because of the fact that it’s busy at the first glance. That’s just my first impression. When taking my time to look it it, I like the concept and the composition. It’s interesting to the point where I look at each letter form, so in turn it becomes effective. I do think that the “Caslon” is a little too jumbled up. If it were aligned differently, maybe it wouldn’t bother me so much. It’s the only thing that really bothers me because it seems like an after thought almost.

  7. It is a bold composition but I don’t feel it adequately gets its message across. The color choice is visually stimulating but the way it is laid out falls short of achieving what the necessary purpose of the poster should display.

  8. The layout as a whole is very cluttered, discordant and chaotic. The entire lower right quarter of the page is made up entirely of a jumble of seemingly random letters. I think, in a way, it helps draw some attention to the composition, with it’s use of negative space, allowing the letters to just sort of appear out of one another.

  9. My first impression of the type is that is very dynamic. There is a white shape t in the center that does not look like a type or that belongs with design. Is very dynamic and is showing the diversity of the type, so I will say that it is appropriate as a type specimen sample.
